Registers are intended to store and process various information that reflects the enterprise's commercial and organizational operations and has no objective nature.

Registers usually store information on changes in the status of objects, or other information that does not directly reflect subject-domain objects. For example, registers can contain information on currency exchange rates or information on the receipt and dispensing of merchandise.
