In ordinary run mode a new item or folder can be added to the catalog by copying an existing item or folder. To do this, place the cursor in the line containing the item or folder you want to copy, and select Actions — Copy.
If Edit in Dialog mode is activated for the catalog, a form for a new catalog item will be opened with all the data copied to it from the source item. The code of the new item will be copied from that of the source item, unless automatic code assignment is set for the catalog.
In managed run mode, a new item or folder can be added to the catalog by copying data of an existing item or folder. To do this, place the cursor in the line with the item or folder to be copied, and select Copy command or press F9. A catalog item form will open, with all the data copied from the source item.
Form actions are performed similarly to adding a new item to catalog.
