Specifying web browser settings

To access 1C:Enterprise applied solutions using Safari, specify the following settings:

  1. On the Safari settings menu, click Preferences.
  2. On the Security tab, do the following:
  • Select the Enable JavaScript check box.
  • Under Accept cookies, click Only from sites I visit.
  • Clear the Block pop-up windows check box. If the interface mode is Forms in tabs or Taxi and the applied solution does not use modal windows, you can skip this.

We recommend that you configure the file download settings:

  1. On the Safari settings menu, click Preferences.
  2. On the General tab, select the Always prompt before downloading check box.

If you run Safari on Microsoft Windows, configure the window opening settings.

  1. On the Safari settings menu, click Preferences.
  2. On the Tabs tab, clear the Ctrl-click opens a link in a new tab check box.
Usage specifics

Safari does not provide the option to set a preferred language. So, if no language is explicitly specified in the web client startup options, the web client uses the operating system interface language.
