Report Form Wizard

At the first step,
the wizard invites you to choose the form type and enter the form name, synonym, and comment.
Use the Select Form Type group of controls to choose form type:
Report Form
Report settings form
Report option form
Generic Form
 
If in the option setup the General tab specifies for Managed application and ordinary configuration edit mode, the wizard will also feature selection of a type of the form to create. Managed form - the created form will be used in the managed application mode. "Ordinary Form - in the ordinary application mode as well as in the managed application mode if the property Use ordinary forms in managed mode is selected for the root configuration object.

If the object has multiple forms of the same type, you can choose one of them as the default form. When you open an object without specifying explicitly which form to call, the default form will open. When creating a form, select the Set Form as Default checkbox to set it as default.
If data composition system must be used, check the box Use data composition system.
 
Specify the form's Name, Synonym, and Comment.
 
When creating a form, you can place two standard command bars on it (at the top and at the bottom). The wizard sets <Form> as the action source for these panels. The action source can be changed later, and the set of commands can be extended with additional custom commands.
The functions of the command bars are determined by the action source and the type of the form's main attribute.
Layout of main controls can be changed as needed (for instance, you may want to omit some controls or alter the default appearance). To make changes, click Next>. The assortment of attributes depends on the form type selected.
If you click Finish, the wizard will automatically arrange controls on the form and open it for editing.
 
At the second step,
you can specify attribute set, select form controls representing each attribute, and choose attribute layout modes.
Choose the attributes to be included in the form.
The Arrange Controls in ... Column(s) attribute specifies the number of columns for the form controls.

To create the form, press the Finish button.
