Mapping and Unmapping Objects

When you compare configurations the program will automatically map objects of the two configurations to each other.

Since the mapping is done according to object name, object names can be identical in the configurations being compared. However, objects of the same name may in fact be different. On the other hand objects with different names might be the same. In such cases you must define the object mapping manually.

To define a mapping
select an object in the configurations comparison window,
open the context menu and select the Find Objects Relationship item;
select an object in the list of the objects that can be mapped and click OK.
To undo an existing mapping
select an object in the configurations comparison window,
open the context menu and select the Clear Object Mapping item.

After you unmap all such objects click the Refresh button. The Designer will again compare the configurations.
