Edit Restriction Templates

In the All access restrictions dialog use the "Restriction Templates" tab to select one or multiple templates and click Edit. A form to edit restriction templates is displayed.

The dialog is intended to enter or edit a single or multiple restriction templates (of access).

If multiple templates are edited, the status of fields and checkboxes is determined by values in the fields Name and Template text.

"Name" field

If the values of the Name fields are the same in all the templates, the field displays template name. If name values are not the same, the field is empty.

If you change text in the Name field, the Change name option is checked.

If Change name is checked, clicking OK will replace the names of selected templates with the text from the Name field.
If when you open the dialog template names are the same, the Change name option is initially checked. If when you open the dialog template names are not the same, the Change name option is initially not checked.

"Template text" field

If values of the fields are the same in all the selected templates, the field displays the restriction text.
If they don't, the field is empty.

If you change text in the field, the Change text option is checked.

You can enter template text by manually typing it or by pasting it from the clipboard. To simplify text entry, you can use commands available in the context menu of the Text templates folder.

If the option is checked, when you click OK the text of selected templates is replaced by the text in the Template text field.
If upon opening the dialog the template texts are the same in all the roles, it is initially checked. If template texts are different, the option is initially unchecked.
