Subsystem Editing
Unlimited number of subsystems can be created during task configuration development. A subsystem may have subordinate subsystems.
Subsystem properties
A subsystem is edited in an editing window.
In addition to shared properties inherent in all metadata objects, subsystems possess several specific properties.
Main
-
On the Main tab check Include in Command Interface if you want the subsystem to be included in the sections panel (only for top-level subsystems).
Select an image to present the subsystem in sections panel.
Content
-
The Content tab is used to generate the assortment of metadata related to this subsystem.
The upper list displays metadata tree. Checked objects are included in the subsystem. In the list select those objects that should be included in subsystem. When you check a metadata object, this object is included in the list of subsystem objects (under the metadata tree). Note that such generated content does not apply to subordinate subsystem.
Functional options
-
On the Functional options tab check those functional options this subsystem will be part of.
On the Other tab the Command interface button opens the command interface editor while Help content displays the help editor used to describe the subsystem.
If Include in help contents is checked and compatibility mode for version 8.1.13 or older is used, for this object help content will include a topic describing the subsystem. Note that the help content branch corresponding to this subsystem always displays help topics for objects included in subsystem if they also have Include in help contents checked.
If compatibility mode is not used, the checkbox defines visibility of the entire help content branch corresponding to this subsystem. In this case the Include in help contents property is not analyzed for the objects included in the subsystem.
