Use the Select Form Type control group to select the form type.

Generic Form

If in the option customization the General tab specifies for Managed application and ordinary application configuration edit mode, the wizard will also feature selection of a type of the form to create. Managed form - the created form will be used in the managed application mode. Ordinary Form - in the ordinary application mode as well as in the managed application mode if the property Use ordinary forms in managed mode is selected for the root configuration object.

If the object has multiple forms of the same type, you can choose one of them as the default form. When you open an object without specifying explicitly which form to call, the default form will open. When creating a form, select the Set Form as Default checkbox to set it as default.

Specify the form's Name, Synonym and Comment.

When creating a form, you can place two standard command bars on it (at the top and at the bottom). The wizard sets <Form> as the action source for these bars. The action source can be changed later, and the command set can be extended with additional custom commands.
The functions of the command bars are determined by the action source and type of the form's main attribute.

If you click the Finish button, the wizard will automatically arrange controls on the form and open it for editing.

Layout of main controls can be changed as needed (for instance, you may want to omit some controls or alter the default appearance). To make changes, press the Next button. The attribute set depends on the form type selected.

At the second step,
you can specify attribute set, select form controls representing each attribute, and choose attribute layout modes.
Choose the attributes to be included in the form.
The Arrange Controls in ... Column(s) attribute specifies the number of columns for the form controls.

To create the form, press the Finish button.
