Specifying period

To change the period of displayed data in a dynamic list, run the More - Set period (All actions - Set period) command, or select the matching command in the list command bar.

The form that is opened is intended for performing the following actions:

  • Set period in the period selection field.
  • Select one of the standard periods.
  • Specify a custom period by selecting its start and end days.

To clear the period selection fields, click Clear period.

To save the period selection settings for using them next time you open the list, select the Remember the selected period check box.

Note. These settings are saved separately for each table and each user.

To set a period, click Select. Alternatively, pressing Spacebar or Enter sets the currently selected period.

To cancel period selection, click Cancel.

The selected period is displayed as an additional button on the list command bar. To clear the filter by period, click the cross next to this button.

Specifying custom period

You can select a period with a mouse using one of the following methods:

  • Click the first month of the period and hold the mouse button. Move the pointer to the last month of the period and release the mouse button. You can also specify the period in the reverse order (from the last month to the first one).
  • Click the first month of the period, and then click the last month of the period. You can also specify the period in the reverse order.
  • Double-clicking a month selects this month as a period.
Adding or removing months to or from the period


To add months, click a month while holding Shift. Then:

  • If the selected month comes later than the selected period, this month and the months between this month and the selected period are added to the period.
  • If the selected month comes earlier than the selected period, this month and the months between this month and the selected period are added to the period.
  • If the selected month belongs to the selected period, the period is not changed.
  • If the period is not yet selected, it is set as if Shift was not held.

Clicking months while holding Ctrl adds or removes months to or from the period:

  • If the selected month comes directly before or after the selected period, it is added to the period.
  • If the selected month is the first or the last month of the selected period, it is removed from the period.
  • If the period is not yet selected, it is set as if Ctrl was not held
Using arrow keys


Pressing the arrow keys does the following:

  • If the selected period is the first row in the year and you press Up Arrow, the period is not changed.
  • If the selected period is the last row in the year and you press Down Arrow, the period is not changed.
  • Otherwise the period is set to the month that is located above, below, to the left, or to the right of the selected item.

Pressing arrow keys while holding down Shift adds months to the currently selected period.

Specifying standard period

To open the dialog box where you can specify a standard period, click Show standard periods.

The left part of the dialog box contains the list of options for each period.

In the right part of the dialog box, click the period name button, and then select the period option in the left part.

To return to custom period selection, click Show custom period or select dates in the period selection fields.
