Server clusters.
The new cluster architecture (a component cluster) is implemented for 1C:Enterprise server cluster system.
  • The new deployment option provides the following benefits:
    • More flexible system administration
    • Adaptation to virtual environments
    • Independent configuring of cluster nodes
  • Increased scalability of individual cluster services
  • Web server integration to the cluster infrastructure
  • Flexible load balancing

You can choose between the new server cluster introduced in version 8.4.1 and the classic server cluster available in version 8.3.5.

These two cluster versions share a single set of features.

Only the 1C:Enterprise 8.3 server cluster architecture was supported.The component cluster provides the following benefits:
  • More flexible system administration
  • Independent configuring of cluster nodes
  • Increased scalability of individual cluster services
  • Web server integration to the cluster infrastructure
  • Flexible load balancing

Table of contents

  • Conversion of configurations, infobases, external data processors and external reports is not required during the transition from the previous version to the version 8.4.1.
  • Using 1C:Enterprise version 8.4.1 for evaluation purposes is possible if your infobase was previously run on 1C:Enterprise version 8.3.5 (or 1C:Enterprise versions 8.3.6-8.3.7 with configuration compatibility mode set to Version 8.3.5, and your configuration does not include any of the new features introduced in versions 8.3.6-8.3.7).
