Filter criteria are among the component mechanisms of information filtering (from catalogs and documents).
Filter criteria act to create predefined filtering rules. When a configuration is used, documents and catalog elements will be filtered by these rules.
There may be any number of filter criteria, and each criterion can have several forms for presenting the filtered results.
The type filter criterion specifies the type of configuration objects in which information can be searched with the filter. Specific objects for filtering are specified during editing.
In order for a filter criterion to perform its functions, a list consisting of catalog and document properties must be created for it in the Designer. There are practically no constraints on the list contents.
The list of a filter criterion is edited in a special editing window.
