Adding objects to configuration extensions
If no configuration extension windows are opened, clicking the Add
to extension context menu item opens the Configuration
extensions dialog box where you can select an extension or
create a new one. The configuration object is copied to the
extension that you select.
The Configuration extensions dialog box includes a
command bar and a tabular section.
The Name column contains the extension name. The name is
taken from the property of the extension configuration and cannot
be changed in this dialog box.
The Version column contains the extension version. The version is taken from the property of the extension configuration and cannot be changed in this dialog box.
- Use this menu for managing configuration extensions.
- Opens the dialog box where you can specify the extension
properties. Once you add an extension, you can open it for
viewing or editing by double-clicking it or by running the Open
- Deletes the extension.
- Updates extension details.
Select the extension where you want to add the main configuration
object and then click Select.
If a configuration extension window is open, clicking the Add
to extension context menu item adds the main configuration
object to the extension configuration being edited.
