Nested Data Composition Schema Settings

To open the dialog, open the report data composition schema and on the Nested Schemas tab create a new nested data composition schema. In the edit mode in the Settings column click the selection button.

Settings are customized by the parameters of the nested schema and/or by the filter criteria.

If parameters are defined for a nested schema, the list of such parameters is displayed in the upper table box. The assortment of columns in the table box depends on the parameter type. The setup process involves specification of values for the parameters. Check a parameter if it should be used and define its value.

The lower table box displays the filter structure of the nested schema.

Using New item or New Folder commands you can create the required filter structure.

Filter expression is specified for an item. In the Left value column specify the field to filter by while the remaining columns are populated with the comparison type and the value to compare with. The Representation column specifies the representation text for this filter in the custom settings.

For a folder a folder type is specified: AND, OR, and NOT. The folder type defines the condition for various filter items to be joined into the folder they belong to.
For the items that are not part of a folder and for the folders the joining condition is AND.

For custom settings, Quick access means that this setting will be used as a quick setting, while Normal and Unavailable indicate that the setting does not belong to the quick settings.

For a non-custom setting included in the custom setup (such as filter), Unavailable means that the setting will not be added to the custom setup, while Normal and Quick access indicate that the setting will be added to the custom setup.

To save the settings, click OK. The settings form will be closed and the list of nested schemas will display Specified in the Settings column (provided that at least one filter criterion has Use checked).
