ExternalDataSourceTableObject.<External source name>.<External data source table name>.SetNewObjectRef

Syntax:

SetNewObjectRef(<Reference>)

Parameters:

<Reference> (required)

Type: ExternalDataSourceTableRef.
Reference that will be assigned when the new object is recorded.

Description:

Sets the value for a new object (created and not yet recorded), that will be assigned during the recording as a ref. The value can not be equal to any present refs in the database's current object type. The ref's uniqueness is checked while recording the object.

Availability:
