Download/Upload Configuration Files

The dump and restore configuration files tool is intended to dump/restore selected properties of configuration objects (modules, templates, and help information). To dump properties, select Configuration - Output Configuration Files menu item.

In the window that opens, check the configuration objects to be dumped, specify the type of dumped data and select the directory to dump to. To initiate the dumping process, click Execute. The dumped data will be recorded to files with names corresponding the names of the dumped properties. File extensions depend on the data types.

    • htm - for help content and HTML document templates;
    • txt - for modules and text document templates;
    • mxl - for spreadsheet document templates;
    • xml – for roles;
    • geo - for geographical schema templates;
    • bin - for binary data templates;
    • pictures are dumped with an extension matching current picture format.

To restore properties, select Configuration - Load Configuration Files menu item. The actions in this window are similar to those for the data dump mode.
