String Input

The String input property is used for configuring string input fields of application objects (catalogs, documents, characteristic types charts, account charts, calculation types charts, business processes and business tasks, exchange plans). A string input field can specify the main attributes: Code and Name for catalogs, characteristic types charts, account charts, calculation types charts, exchange plans; Name and Number for business processes and business tasks, as well as typed attributes of Number or String type whose Index property has a value of "Indexing" or "Index with additional ordering".

In the dialog, move the fields for which string input is possible to the right-hand list.

For multiple fields, specify the order. During the string search the fields will be searched in the order specified in this dialog.
