New Access Restriction

The New Access Restriction dialog enables you to set access restrictions for multiple configuration objects, roles, rights, and field combinations.

The process of access restriction group creation includes several steps. To move to the next step, use the Next button; to go back to the previous step, use the Back button.

In the first step select metadata objects and roles to set access restrictions for. Use the By Subsystems button to display a list of configuration objects for the selected subsystems only.

In the second step select access rights and set access restrictions at the level of database records and fields: if necessary, mark the database fields to apply a restriction to and enter the restrictions text. You can enter access restriction text directly in the Access Restriction field or create it in the data access restriction wizard that is opened by clicking the selection button next to the Access Restriction field.

Click OK to form the required access restrictions for the selected objects and roles.
