Decision tree

A decision tree is a schematic representation of the decision-making process for a certain task, displayed graphically in a tree structure.

The decision tree is represented as a chart, describing the decision-making process and the effects of selecting each of the possible alternatives. Each option is characterized by the probability of risks and by the costs and benefits of selecting each logical sequence of events and future decisions.
