Template Setup

Template setup means creating a list of used templates and set up the order for the templates in the list.

To open setup window, select the Actions – Template Setup menu item in the templates window.

Files of templates located in program directory are considered standard.

Selecting the Use Standard Templates option adds standard templates to the template files list. Deselecting the Use Standard Templates option deletes standard templates from the template files list.

You cannot edit standard templates in the Designer. You can only view them. Opening standard templates makes them unavailable for editing, with no additional messages displayed.

Since a separate directory is used for each platform version, we do not recommend copying template files to the platform directory. Custom templates should be stored separately and added into the template files list. This way, you can use your own templates in later platform versions.

Order of templates in the list is important for templates with the same names. If you type in replaceable string, template of the file located higher in the list is automatically selected for replacement.

You can add custom template files to the file list in addition to the standard template files. To add a template file, press the "Add" button in the template setting window's command bar. In the new row on the right press the browse button and select the template file.

To arrange files in the list, use the Move Up and Move Down command bar buttons. Order of templates in the list is important for templates with the same names.

To remove unused template, select it in the file list and click the Delete command bar button.
