Saving Report and Data Processor Parameter Values
Parameter set used to generate any report can be saved and then used later to build the same report (or execute data processor). The parameter set is saved as a set of the dialog attribute values.
Availability of save and restore mode for the parameter values is specified in the configuration.
Parameters are generally saved using the command Actions – Save Values... or corresponding toolbar button. A dialog opens where you should enter a name for the setting to be saved and specify parameters of its usage.
The dialog box contains a list of settings. After selecting any setting in the list, previous parameters saved in this setting are overwritten with the current values.
Check the box "Use on open" to use the saved setting automatically when this report will be opened next time. The dialog box allows you to specify only one setting to be used on open. This setting is marked in the list by an icon.
You can set the "Save automatically" checkbox in the bottom part of the dialog. If this mode is enabled, the current setting will be automatically saved after the report is closed or another setting is opened. You can work with the previously selected report parameter values without calling save and restore functions if you use a combination of the "Use on open" flag and the "Save automatically" mode. These parameters are automatically saved when the form is closed, and are automatically restored when the form is opened.
