ChartOfCharacteristicTypesObject.<Chart of characteristic types name>.Fill

Syntax:

Fill(<FillingData>)

Parameters:

<FillingData> (optional)

Type: Arbitrary.
Value to fill from.

Description:

Fills an element with the data of another object. Filling procedure is called in the chart of characteristic types module. It can include an algorithm that fills the element data from the value passed in the parameter.
To fill it you can use any type of value. Filling algorithm for this value type must be described in the Filling procedure.

Availability:

Server, thick client, external connection.
