IServerAgentConnection.ApplyAssignmentRules

Syntax:

ApplyAssignmentRules(<Cluster>, <Mode>)

Parameters:

<Cluster> (required)

Type: IClusterInfo.
The cluster setting changes should be applied for.

<Mode> (required)

Type: Number.
Method of applying cluster configuration changes.
  • 0 - partial. Services that use file data storages cannot participate in changing the purpose:
    • event log service;
    • full text search service;
    • custom settings service.
  • 1 - full. Reassignment of all the services is executed.

Description:

Applies the purpose requests.
After method execution the changes introduced into cluster configuration impact cluster operation control.
If changes to the cluster settings are contradictory, the changes are not applied and an exception is generated.
