XMLWriter.OpenFile

Syntax variant: By name and encoding type

Syntax:

OpenFile(<XMLFileName>, <TypeOfTheCoding>)

Parameters:

<XMLFileName> (required)

Type: String.
The name of the file, to which XML text will be written.

<TypeOfTheCoding> (optional)

Type: String.
One of possible character sets can be specified as the encoding type. In this case a file will be written using the corresponding encoding. A corresponding 'Encoding' attribute value will be included in the XML document declaration (if such a declaration will be used). If an empty string is specified as the parameter or no parameter is specified, UTF8 encoding will be used to write the file, and no 'encoding' attribute will be included in the XML document declaration.
