Creating a Repository

A Configuration Repository is created to provide shared access to configuration objects.

Use the Configuration - Configuration Repository-Create a Repository command to create a Configuration Repository.

In Location of Repository field indicate the folder where the Repository is located or the address of the remote Repository. Click Next".

Enter the name of the Repository Administrator and the access password. The Repository Administrator defines the list of users who have permission to access the Configuration Repository

After clicking OK the Configuration Manager analyzes the data, creates an object structure and saves the data into the specified folder.

This process may take some time (depending on the size of the configuration).

When the Repository has been created, the Configuration Manager offers the users to connect to the Repository.
