Repository object history

Select an object in the repository and run the Actions - Object History command to view the history of the object.

The object history will be displayed in the window.

The Object state in this version column contains an icon that shows whether any of the object properties that can be included in selective comparison were modified in the current version.

The Object column contains the repository object.

The Date column contains the lock date (if the object is locked at the moment) or the date when the object was last updated.

The User column contains the name of the user who stored the given version.

The table to the right contains the list of changed object properties that can be included in selective comparison.

The Actions menu can be used to view a given version of the object, to view and set a label and a comment for the repository object version, to compare the object with a configuration object (selective comparison is available), and to compare two object versions (multiple selections are allowed).

You can view the selective history of an object property by clicking View selective history in the pop-up menu.

You can perform selective comparison by clicking Perform selective comparison with the repository object in the pop-up menu and then selecting the property that was changed in this version. If you select a single object version, the object property is compared selectively with the configuration object property. If you select two object versions, the properties of these two object versions are compared selectively.

You can also perform selective comparison from the list of changed object properties. In the pop-up menu, click Perform selective comparison with the repository object. If you select a single object version, the object property is compared selectively with the configuration object property. If you select two object versions, the properties of these two object versions are compared selectively.

If you select Object, selective comparison between the object and its latest version in the repository is performed.

If you select Help content, selective comparison between the object help topic and its latest version in the repository is performed.

If you select Module, selective comparison between the object module and its latest version in the repository is performed.

If you select Form, selective comparison between the object form and its latest version in the repository is performed.

If you select Form (module), selective comparison of form modules without form comparison is performed.
