Templates

In the 1C:Enterprise system, a template is a configuration object designed for creating printed forms.

The configuration contains two types of templates.

Common templates of printed forms are arranged on the "Common - Templates" branch of the configuration object tree. The distinguishing feature of common templates is that they are available to any configuration module.

Printed form templates of configuration objects (catalogs, documents, document journals, registers, reports, and processings) are located in subordinate "Templates" objects of the corresponding metadata objects.

A special spreadsheet editor is provided for editing templates.

Templates may be the following types:

  • spreadsheet document;
  • binary data;
  • active document;
  • HTML document.

A template may be created using the Template Wizard, the Output Form Wizard, or the Print Wizard.
