Configuration

A major feature of the 1C:Enterprise system is its configure ability.

The 1C:Enterprise system proper is a set of mechanisms designed for manipulating various types of objects in an object domain. The specific set of objects, the data array structures, and the Data Processor algorithms are determined by the specific configuration.

Along with the configuration, the 1C:Enterprise system acts as a ready-to-use software product aimed at certain types of enterprises and classes of tasks.

The configuration is crated by standard system tools. To create and edit a configuration, the 1C:Enterprise system must be launched in Designer mode.

The configuration is normally supplied as a standard for the particular area of application, but it may be modified or extended by the user or developed from scratch.
