Used to obtain and save the point in time for an object in the database. Contains the date and time as well as a reference to the database object. Used as the values of properties and method parameters for other objects of PointInTime type.
The point in time is used when it is important to differentiate the points in time for objects with the same date and time; for example, to compare the location of the documents on a time axis.
Does not contain context on a thin client and web-client.
Thin client, web-client, server, thick client, external connection, Mobile application (server).
Exchange with server is possible. Serializable. The given object may be serialized to/from XML.DocumentRef, method PointInTime
