Creating Backup Copy of the Infobase

Backing up an infobase in 1C:Enterprise in the file mode can differ from doing it in the client/server mode.

Below we discuss creation of a backup copy in the file mode.

Attention! To ensure data integrity and consistency, users must be prohibited from working with infobase while backing up.

Open Explorer and switch to the directory where the infobase is located. To create a copy of the infobase, just copy 1CV8.1CD file to a separate directory. To restore the infobase in the case of data loss, data corruption and so on, just copy saved file to the directory where it was previously located.

To copy the infobase, you can also use special software tools designed for data backup and restore.
