Templates

The dialog box contains a control panel to create template groups and individual templates, to delete unnecessary templates and to determine the listing order.

The left part of the dialog box contains a template tree. In the right part, you can edit the names of template groups and the template itself.

Templates can be grouped into folders for convenience. To create a group, click the Add Folder button.

To create a template, select the group where it is to be located and click the Add button.

In the Name property, enter the template name (this select the correct template for insertion into the edited text).

In the Automatically replace string property, specify the initial part of the line. This will cause the program to substitute the template text for the text entered in the text document window (if auto substitute mode is enabled). Auto substitution occurs when a sequence of keys is followed by the Enter key or space bar.

For a Template text multi-line field, enter the text to replace the text specified in the Automatically replace string field or automatically entered into the document text when the template is selected.

To make the template available during interactive selection, check the Include in context menu option.

Control directives can be manually inserted into the templates, or you can use a special query to interactively insert control directives.

Place the cursor in the position in the template that contains the variable part and click <-> Insert...
