Text templates

Template is a special text string used to replace the text you enter. Templates are used to enter frequently used text strings fast.

Separate lists of text template files are set up for each configuration programming language. When you change the programming language in the Designer, you should set up an appropriate template list (if required).

Templates are stored in template files.

To edit a template, choose it and select the Actions - Edit menu item.

To create a new template file, click the Actions - New Template File item.

To set up template files, select Actions - Template Setup.

Standard Templates string points to a standard template file in the file list. If several standard template files are found, Standard Templates string is followed by the file name with no path, language or extension indicated.
