Query builder is one of the development tools. It allows building the query text in the query language exclusively using the visual tools.

Using the buttons Next and Back, it is possible to navigate over the builder tabs and indicate what data must be in the query result, how are they connected, grouped, what results should be calculated, work with temporary tables, edit the package of queries:

The result of builder will be a syntactically valid query text. Thus, the developer can build a workable query even without knowing the syntax of the query language – the necessary syntax constructions the Designer will generate automatically. The ready query text can be immediately pasted in the module text or copied to the clipboard.

In addition to this, the query builder allows editing the query text existing in the program. To do this, it is enough to place the cursor inside the existing query text and call the builder. The existing query text will be analyzed and shown in the builder as the corresponding selected fields of database and the specified relations, groupings, conditions, etc.
