Template is a subordinate configuration object. The templates allow storing in the configuration various data required to display during operation both the entire application solution and its individual objects.

The templates may contain data of various types. This can be a spreadsheet document that reminds the electronic tables and is widely used when generating the output forms of documents and reports; this can be a text document or binary data. The template can also include an ActiveDocument (for example, Word document, Excel sheet or a CorelDRAW figure), HTML-document or geographic scheme.
